Paint by Numbers FAQs

1. Can I do this if I’m a beginner?

Yes. Our kits are designed for all skill levels, including complete beginners. The numbered areas and guided colors make the process easy to follow, even if you have never painted before.

2. What comes in each kit?

Each standard kit includes a pre-printed numbered canvas, acrylic paints, and 3 brushes in different sizes. Depending on the option selected, your canvas may be framed or rolled. Some kits may also include a reference sheet or color guide.

3. How long does it take to finish a kit?

The time required depends on the size and complexity of the design. Smaller and simpler kits may take around 5 to 10 hours, while larger and more detailed kits can take considerably longer. Many customers enjoy completing their kits over several relaxing painting sessions.

4. Do I need to buy extra supplies?

No. Everything you need to complete the kit is included. We may offer optional accessories on our website, such as easels or additional brushes, but they are not required.

5. Can kids do paint by numbers?

Yes. Children can enjoy paint by numbers, especially simpler designs. Adult supervision is recommended, as acrylic paint may stain clothing, furniture, or other surfaces.

6. How can I remove creases from the canvas?

Rolled or unframed canvases may arrive with light creases from shipping. To reduce them, place the canvas face down on a towel and gently iron the back on low heat without steam, using a protective cloth between the iron and the canvas. Framed canvases generally do not have this issue.

7. What if I run out of paint?

Most kits include enough paint to complete the design. If you run out of paint, please contact us at support@paintedcalm.com and we will review your case and assist you accordingly.

8. Do you offer custom paint by numbers?

If custom kits are available on our website, you can place your order directly through the relevant product page by uploading your photo and following the instructions provided there.

Shipping & Returns FAQs

1. How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Standard Shipping estimated delivery time is 8 to 15 business days after order processing. For full details, please see our Shipping Policy.

2. Do you ship internationally?

Shipping availability may vary depending on the destination, product availability, and fulfillment logistics. If shipping is available to your location, the available shipping options will be shown at checkout.

3. What is your return and refund policy?

We accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unopened, unused, and remain in their original packaging. For eligible returns within 30 days of delivery, Painted Calm provides free return shipping. Custom or personalized kits are not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless they arrive damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect. For full details, please see our Return & Refund Policy.

4. What if my order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect?

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us at support@paintedcalm.com within 30 days of delivery. Please include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos of the product, packaging, and any damaged, incorrect, or missing parts. We will review the issue and, where applicable, offer a replacement, missing parts, store credit, or refund in accordance with our policies.

5. What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

Please contact us immediately at support@paintedcalm.com. If your order has not yet been processed or prepared for shipment, we may be able to update the address. Once an order has been processed, prepared for shipment, or shipped, we are unable to guarantee address changes. For more details, please see our Shipping Policy.
